Use the state and the requested output to route the search

Marion County can refer to different states. Oregon and Florida are two distinct routes below, not an exhaustive list. The court heading and state on the case document determine the relevant clerk. The output also matters: a docket, certified order and hearing recording do not answer the same question.

Two verified starting points

Marion County, Oregon

Circuit Court records requests uses the statewide request form. Have the case number and exact documents or hearing dates. The court provides different request and charging rules for documents, audio and transcripts.

Marion County, Florida

Clerk records search separates court records from Official Records/Recording. Choose the court search for a prosecution, then identify the case and required filing before ordering a copy.

Oregon copy format changes the price and handling

Oregon product Electronic Paper
Standard copy $3 per request $3 + $0.25 per page
Certified copy $5 per request $5 + $0.25 per page
Exemplified copy $10 per request $10 + $0.25 per page

Marion Circuit Court prices checked September 29, 2026. Delivery/media costs may be extra; payment is required before processing. These are Oregon charges and do not establish Florida prices.

Prepare the record request by the question it must answer

  • ✓
    What the judge ordered

Identify the dated order or judgment. If certification is required, request the entire filed document in that form.

  • ✓
What was said at the hearing

Provide the hearing date and ask for the audio/transcript route. A written order is not a transcript of testimony.

  • ✓
    How certification will be used

Oregon directs that electronically delivered certified/exemplified copies be printed in color and not altered. Preserve the original certified file and follow the recipient’s format requirements.

  • ✓
    An older or missing file

Ask the Oregon court about the specific date and case. Its records guidance notes physical/digital records from 1987 and limited older microfilm; do not assume every older document is online.
